Dak Nong Geopark’s logo

Dak Nong Geopark logo is a highly artistic design with the image of 5 stone bars, or 5 bachpe gongs – traditional music instruments of local ethnic minorities in Dak Nong province. From left to right, the image of 5 stone bars get bigger, symbolizing long-lasting matriarchal culture of M’nong ethnic group.

These 5 also represent Polang flower blooming on volcanic basalt soil and a symbol of the provincial welcoming hand for development cooperation to Dak Nong province.

In addition, 5 lines represent the rack as well as 5 lines of the music staff and also the sound waves emitted from the lithophone, the gongs from Dak Nong Geopark – The Land of Sounds.

Large green circle outside embodies the color of mountains and agriculture with industrial crops – a strength of the province. Moreover, this circle illustrates the M’nong’s gong.

The small brown circle inside is the symbol of the gong knob. It also symbolizes the mouth of the volcanic cave.

At the bottom is the name, DAK NONG GEOPARK. The colors shown in the logo are also typical colors of decorative patterns on indigenous ethnic costumes in Dak Nong province.
