Lithocarpus ducampii is a species of Fagaceae family, that is native to some Northern provinces in Vietnam.
Lithocarpus ducampii is a large timber tree with all year round broad and green foliage. The tree has a straight trunk with frills, which can grow up to 30m in height and 50-60cm in diameter at chest height. The bark is grey-brown with vertically deep cracks and online declaration. The deciduous leaves are simple, alternate, spear-shaped, 10-12cm in length and 3-4cm in width, with leave bunches 1cm in length. Leaf veins are prominent on the lower surface while the upper surface has star-shaped hairs of burnt iron color. Lithocarpus ducampii wood is used for various purposes but usually for making furnitures such as bed, chair and table.
