On April 15th, 2023, Nhan Van Junior High School and High School, Ho Chi Minh City organized to experience at some sites of DNUGGp for 100 students. The Management Body Dak Nong Geopark selected staff to guide and explain to the students at 3 sites: No. 01 (Information Center), No. 07 (Nam Kar Volcanic Range) and No. 12 (Dray Sap Waterfall) belong to “Rhapsody of Fire and Water” Route.
This is one of the extracurricular educational activities in interdisciplinary integration way for high school students in the year 2022-2023 to help them learn about the geological structure and the formation process of DNUGGp.
During the trip, the students observed and answered questions from the Interdisciplinary Integrated Practical Experience Notebook prepared by the school and regularly answered new questions from teachers and the instructor to make a attraction and ensure the goal of “working while studying” for students. Through the experience, the students were very excited to ask many questions to interact with the instructor and answer questions. This way will help them to be self-directed and have the fastest way to complete the report effectively after the end of the trip.
After a practical experience, the leader – Ms. Hoang Thi Minh Lien – Principal of Nhan Van Junior High School and High School, commented that it’s very appropriate when taking students to DNUGGp, the first destination in the inter-provincial experience trip has achieved many good results.
